Spark Sustainability is developing a climate app to engage employees

During the last few years Spark Sustainability has worked with companies like Neste, Moomin Characters and Rights & Brands to engage employees in sustainability targets and projects to ensure success, and enabled 35 000 climate actions among consumers via the Carbon Donut app. Through this work, we’ve noticed that people get a better understanding of the climate goals — and are more dedicated to reach them — if they are put into the context of individual everyday actions.

This spring we are developing a tool that engages employees in their company’s climate work to ensure ambitious climate targets can be reached. The idea of developing our app further for organisational use was born through our learnings from working with customer firms as well as through in-bound requests received during the past 6 months.

During the next months we're exploring different ways of developing our Carbon Donut app to help employees take climate action, engage them in their organisation’s climate work, and provide analytics of the resulting CO2 savings.
