As the year ends, it’s time to reflect on what we achieved this year and look at the year ahead. This year, Spark Sustainability empowered the Donut Crew to save over 348 900 kg CO2-eq via the Carbon Donut app.
Saving this many kg of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2-eq) corresponds to:
No bad, huh? In 2022, Spark Sustainability changed its focus from helping individuals to supporting companies in reaching their climate goals and making a lasting positive impact. Today, we help companies live up to their sustainable values by taking action and making that action the new normal.
However, our mission has stayed the same. Spark Sustainability accelerates the shift towards a carbon-neutral society by making climate action the new normal.
Next year, we will help as many companies as possible to engage employees in their climate work to foster learning, promote climate-smart practices, and accelerate the organisations’ sustainability journey.
We envision a world where climate action drives business decisions, political agreements and technological advancement to stop climate change. We will enable 1 billion climate actions by 2030, which will result in a reduction of more than 100 billion kg of CO2-eq.
